The FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) movement was created by Millennials who desired financial security from a young age and were willing to make the necessary financial sacrifices (such as forgoing expensive cars and extravagant vacations). In the video below, I explore the concept of FIRE and discuss whether it is better to become financially independent by getting as high as an income as possible (e.g. by working overtime) or by cutting expenses to save more for retirement.
